Thresholds with a riser can be easily adjusted with a screw driver to meet the weather strip on the bottom of the door to create a tight weather-seal.

The anatomy of a door is made up of several vital components that work together to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing entryway. Here’s a brief description of each term:

Transom: A window located above the door’s transom
Mull Post: A structural post between the sidelite and the door
Doorlite: The glass component of a door, fixed in place by a thin frame
Liteframe: The thin frame that separates the doorlite from the door and fixes it in place
Sidelite: A narrow panel, or pane of glass on the sides of a door
Brickmold: Covers the space between the frame and the material the home is made from, creating an aesthetic boundary
Door Slab: A door without a frame or hinges
Sill: The threshold of the doorway, fixed to the bottom

Pre-Framed Steel Door

Flexible, magnetic weather stripping seals out wind and dust. Also, with compression weather stripping it ensures an airtight system.
Closed cell foam corner seal on the hinge side, no wicking. Keeps wind-driven rain and dust out.

When they were introduced on the market years ago, the Executive Panel series sent ashockwave in the steel door industry, and they have become more popular every year since. As soon as the door is pulled shut, the Automatic Latchbolts instantly throw 20mm and are secured to prevent them from being forced back. By turning the key or knob, it will engage the deadbolt and lock the top and bottom latchbolts to become a triple deadbolt locking system.
